Streaming AJAX is a new high speed AJAX implementation that provides significantly faster update speeds and lower bandwidth and CPU requirements, when compared with polling AJAX implementations. Streaming AJAX applications can also be viewed on many mobile web devices.

The Update Frequency is the speed at which the DataPid sends new values to the DataHub. To change the Setpoint value, first set Auto Setpoint change to Manual. Then enter a new value for the Setpoint. These changes are transmitted to the DataHub and subsequently to the DataPid. When Auto Setpoint change is set to Auto, the DataPid program automatically changes the Setpoint every few seconds. |
