To provide access to the SD card, the Direct-Link Administrator must be started after every power-up of the computer. If running on a network in QNX 4, the administrator must be run on the node where the card is located. Under normal operation the administrator is started in the background with no command line arguments.

After running the Administrator, you must run the Loader Program.

sdadmin &

The administrator syntax is:

sdadmin [-d debug -n name -m messages -h] &

Where:

debug: initializes the debug flags (see SD_DEBUG_FLAGS)
name: alternative name registration (see Communicating with the Administrator)
messages: total number of DH messages for which space is reserved. Maximum 251, default 100.
-h: help; display a help message
