Chapter 5. Sample Program: mbptest

The source code for the program mbptest is included on the distribution diskette. This program is an interactive utility that tests the operation of mbpadmin and demonstrates how to send most of the message types to the administrator and analyze the responses.

The format of the mbptest command is:

mbptest [-n admin_name] [-N admin_node]

The meaning of each option is as follows:

-n admin_name
Specify the name that was registered by the administrator. Default is mbpadmin. The name should be the same as was specified in the -n option of mbpadmin.
-N admin_node
Specify the node on which the administrator is running. The default is the same node as mbptest.
