Problem:

Failed to initiate conversation with VIEW|Data

Cause:

Intouch is not publishing its DDE service and topic name as the default. Normally, Intouch starts with a service name of view, and a topic name of data. This may have changed in your version.

Solution:

You should do one of:

If Intouch allows you to choose the server Service and Topic name, change them to view and data respectively.
If Intouch offers different service and topic names, they should be documented in the Intouch manual. You can change the service and topic names that Cascade Connect expects in the Cascade Connect configuration screen to match Intouch's names.
