append
append — appends a
string to the value of a point.
Syntax
(append name string [secs] [nano])
Arguments
- name
- The
name of a point, which must be a string type.
- string
- A
string to add to the current string value of the
point.
- secs
- The
time in seconds. If this is not specified, the current date
and time in seconds is used.
- nano
- A
fraction of a second, in nanoseconds. If this is not
specified, the number of nanoseconds past the current date and
time is used.

A message indicating success or
